Telling Your Story Is Much Easier Than You Think

Why aren’t you telling it?

We’re going to keep this part short. There are many effective ways to tell your story and reach customers and you really should be doing them all to be as successful as possible, but if you aren’t utilizing social media to tell the story of your business we have to politely ask why.

Common excuses are

There isn’t enough time.

We can’t dedicate enough resources to be consistent.

We don’t have anything to say.

It doesn’t generate actionable leads.

Which of these is true? Probably all of them, but that doesn’t matter. You are looking at social media through a clouded (and slightly biased) lens. You can’t quite see it clearly enough to truly see it’s value, and we get it, we do. When you can’t point to (A) and say because of (A) we got (X). True, for the most part, but again you are not seeing it clearly. You have most likely been forcing your social media to be something it is not and then blaming it when didn’t do what it isn’t designed to do.

Utilizing Social Media isn’t a lead generation method. It is an engagement method and it is an essential one.

Now, do you believe engaging with your customers is an important part of your business strategy? We thought so. So let’s try this again and this time, let’s do it right.
